Tiwi is an Australian Aboriginal language spoken by the Tiwi people. According to the 2016 census, there are currently 2,040 speakers
meaning that it is a critial time for language documentation work. I have been working on developing language technology for Tiwi including
a transcription keyboard layout and a morphological transducer
Ticha is a digital text explorer for texts from Colonial Valley Zapotec, an Indigenous language spoken in Oaxaca, Mexico during the colonial period (1521-1821). My main
contribution to the project was transcription and TEI encoding of Leonardo Levanto’s 1732 Arte de la lengua zapoteca.
